You can cover your hair with a shower cap or leave it open for up to 20 minutes and wash off under the shower rinse off with warm water afterwards.

Honey is quite effective in fading new and old scars. The lightening properties contained in honey are very effective in healing scars and regenerating tissues. All you will need is 2 tablespoon of water and 3 tablespoons of raw honey. Dampen the hair with some water and apply the mixture. Leave it on for one hour and wash off afterwards. You can do this on a weekly basis.
